THIS AND THAT MY SENTIMENTAL FUTUROLOGY

Looking to the future, I am convinced that everything is possible.

In my painting and textiles, I focus on the feelings and states of consciousness that I experienced during my journeys. Visits to New York, Prague and London were especially important for me. These were breakthrough moments that broadened my awareness.

When traveling, I never part with my sketchbook, for me it is a visual diary of experienced emotions. Upon my return it becomes the starting point of my paintings. When painting, I reinterpret my memories, I combine them with the present. I paint intuitively, watching where the picture leads me to. For me it is the fore- cast of the future, a game of “What will the world look like in 100 years?”

I miss the future. This feeling has been accompanying me for some time now and it has intensified at the beginning of my studies at the Academy. I do not know what the future brings, but I know IT WILL BE FINE!
